Victor was born and raised in the Central Valley of California to Portuguese immigrant parents. Growing up he was heavily involved in FFA and carried his passion to Cal Poly, SLO, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Dairy Science with a Minor in AgBusiness.

Throughout his career, he's held many jobs in the dairy industry, including managing his family's dairy, being a registered Dairy Inspector for the CDFA Milk and Dairy Food Safety Branch, and selling dairy products and ingredients. He has been a proud member of ARPAS since 2014. He has guest lectured at Cal Poly and Modesto Junior College on topics including Cow Comfort, Calf & Heifer Rearing, and Heat Stress.

In his free time, Victor and his wife Dora enjoy being part of their Portuguese community, cooking and baking traditional scratch-made breads, pastas, and sauces and watching their son, Xander, dance in 2 local Portuguese Folklore groups. For the past 2 years, he has and continues to coach the Dairy Challenge Team for the Modesto Junior College Dairy Program.

Victor loves the Dairy Industry and strives to make it more sustainable for future generations.
